Stepping into the bustling grounds of the GART Research Centre in Chisamba, Zambia, for the Agritech Expo Zambia 2024 marked a significant milestone for Cattle For Africa. Celebrating the expo’s 10th anniversary from April 18th to 20th, 2024, filled us with excitement and pride. This event was not just a showcase but our first international expo beyond South Africa’s borders. We anticipated much from the Agritech Expo Zambia 2024, eager to engage with new opportunities and partners.
Zambia’s thriving agricultural landscape offers immense promise for our livestock export efforts. With a solid history of serving clients in Zambia, the chance to meet familiar faces and form new connections was particularly encouraging. This expo provided a platform to further strengthen our relationships and explore new avenues for collaboration.
The three-day event was a whirlwind of activity and engagement. On the first day, we dedicated our time to reconnecting with loyal clients, many of whom we’ve worked with for years. Their ongoing trust in our superior genetics and quality livestock served as a strong reaffirmation of our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
As the expo progressed, we expanded our interactions to include smallholder farmers and newcomers to the industry. Sharing valuable insights and offering guidance was highly rewarding, aligning with our mission to support farmers of all scales. We aimed to empower these individuals, helping them thrive and succeed in their agricultural endeavors.
On the third day, we focused on deepening relationships with commercial farmers and prospective clients. Meeting face-to-face and reinforcing these connections proved gratifying, highlighting the trust and credibility we’ve built over the years. This experience underscored the positive impact of personal engagement in our industry.
Beyond the business transactions, we were deeply touched by Zambia’s warmth and hospitality. Moreover, the expo fostered a strong sense of community within the agricultural sector.
The connections made at the Agritech Expo Zambia 2024 hold great promise, and we are enthusiastic about seeing how these relationships develop. With plans to revisit Zambia, we remain committed to empowering farmers and contributing to Africa’s agricultural growth and prosperity.
